The Delivery

2022 was always shaping up to be the toughest of 3 consecutive disrupted years. For our business, planning was key to a successful outcome so for our team this started June 2021. Using an adage from our MD, delivering a successful programme can be akin to a One Day cricket match. With limited time to achieve your target, every moment matters and getting runs on the board early is a hell of a lot easier than trying to push for them with just a few overs to go. Jenkins did exactly this with the Sinclair fruit labelling programme this season.

This season’s production began 4 weeks earlier than normal, we ran the presses harder than normal pre-December to build up stocks, secured extra staff in key roles to cover the likely Covid down time and procured additional label production from other Sinclair plants. Our focus was on a quality programme delivery, and we managed to get all Sinclair labelling programmes delivered to packhouses as planned, on time and without disruption to packhouse packing plans. We are extremely proud of this result and the team effort to ensure our label programme delivery this season. It is dangerous to read your own mail, but customers have backed up our performance with comments like “Best Supplier 2022” from a CEO of a major supply group. This has been a tough year for all with not many stars aligning, but we do hope your labelling programme is just one less thing you need to worry about.

2023 is now in our sights and we are not slowing down. Very excited to announce the recent installation of a brand-new printing press for our Tauranga facility increasing our capacity and speed, and yes, a much bigger bat. All the very best with navigating the remainder of this year, thank you for your support.
