Ready, Steady, Go!

2022 season here we come. As summerfruit comes to a close, pip fruit, kiwifruit are all ramping up. Who would have thought a few years ago we would be packing kiwifruit in February? Red kiwi is coming on strong with volumes up and picking beginning now. 2022 is one of Sinclair’s largest new machine installations for many years. Thanks so much to our customers for this continued support and importantly thanks very much for committing early and securing your equipment. Our JFS technicians have and continue to work long hours to get everything in place for this season. And when things get beyond our control, like freight, we will do everything we can to get a workable solution in place, as we did with a new Hastings installation recently. Label production is in good shape. There are good volumes of apple labels in our Tauranga, Hastings and Nelson sites and the massive annual Sinclair kiwifruit label distribution, with 50% of all Zespri labels distributed to packhouse sites in 1 week, on track, as normal, to be delivered by the end of February.

Clearly 2022 will be no walk in the park, it will be a tough year. But we have all been planning for it and at Sinclair and Jenkins we have a full crew, primed and ready to support and deliver your full labelling programmes as needed. Thanks for your support. Go well.
