Labelling Machine Innovations

Our investment in research and development has never been greater and if you have 4 more minutes please click the link below for Sinclair’s latest update on our home compostable label developments.

Right now, I wish to draw your attention to a couple of nifty innovations we have stealthily introduced to our work horse fruit labelling machine the RM6. “Chain stretch” in a packhouse grading machine can be a significant problem for labelling leading to uneven and ugly application of labels onto fruit. Sinclair has recently introduced “Individual Lane Timing“ to their RM6. ILT allows individual labelling applicators to be tuned in perfectly to each lane on the grader ensuring a more accurate label application onto the fruit and higher labelling percentages, meaning an all-over nicer labelling job. The second innovation to be rolled out on the RM6 as an option is our Auto Hight Adjustment technology. Clever little sensors read the height of fruit being presented to the label applications and this information automatically raises or lowers the height of the labelling bank ensuring the optimal connection from label applicator to fruit. So, a couple of innovative enhancements to the our mainstay RM6 labelling machine optimising label presentation and making the fruit offer to global customers and consumers more consistent and that little bit more attractive.
