As we sign off for 2022, after what for most of us has been a year of challenges, frustrations, and stress, it is now the time to plan and look forward to a well-earned break, with family and friends.
No matter how short your break is over the Christmas New Year period, being able to reconnect with family and friends is very special. It can often be the catalyst to bring together family members spread far and wide. It’s a chance to relax and recharge the batteries and for many of us, will be nearly fully depleted. Whether its family descending on your place or you are travelling to a bach, camping ground or Airbnb, we all have our favourite ways to spend the holidays.
For me and my family it’s off to our bach at Pauanui in the Coromandel where I will read some books, get some fishing and golf in, long walks on the beach with the dog and generally relax. We also have our nephews wedding to attend in Auckland on New Year’s Eve and I know “who gets married on New Year’s Eve”? So, we will have a brief break away from the bach to celebrate my nephew and partners wedding and made extra special as my sister and family are coming through from USA, which will be so great to reconnect after what seems like ages.
So as we sign off for 2022, I want to thank all our customers for their valued support and we look forward to working with you again in 2023.
Until then, have a safe and happy Christmas and New Year and good riddance to 2022!
