2022 Woo Hoo

Says nobody. This year is starting like no other. I’m supposed to and want to be the person that reassures you that everything is going to be okay. Our products will be on time, we’ve got you covered but honestly, I’m feeling a bit nervous and need a steady hand put on me to say it’s going to be okay.

When we plan for the worst-case scenario and that plan doesn’t even start to look realistic what do we do? For me it’s start from the beginning, lay everything out so we can see the picture. What I find by doing this is I can see exactly where we’re at and how our timeline is looking. The dates aren’t really in sync but mostly things turn out okay or because we are taking the time to look at how everything is lying, we can make the next plan and start pivoting towards the solutions.

I can only imagine the real dilemmas that you, our customers are facing if your roll has anything to do with needing staff. That’s probably all of you. Aren’t we all just so tired of doing this new normal? Maybe now we can look forward to getting past the next 4 to 6 months, maybe our overseas workers will be back, and travel will be flowing freely again. That’s what will keep us all going. Things will get better. The endless discussions and installations of automated systems must really mean that in a couple of years this fight will be won. We’ve adapted, pivoted, adopted the new, invested and ensured that failing isn’t an option.

Aren’t we amazing people, give yourself a pat on the back! We really can do this, in fact we will do this, we will dig deep, we will deliver and 2023 will be here before we know it.

Stay strong, look after yourself. Scrutinize what’s important to you and ensure that you give those parts of your life the attention it deserves, and we will all be okay.
