Smarter Tray Labelling for Smarter Packhouses

Tray labelling is one of New Zealand’s favourite ways to get a brand or other information onto individual fruit pieces. Did you know about Sinclair International's recent innovative release from their R&D team to make this process smarter?

The Compact Pattern Labeller, or CPL, is the latest generation of robust, flexible and smart tray labelling. While maintaining the much loved features of its predecessors, the new CPL can be integrated into your packhouse management system, controlled remotely and is easily programmed using a 7” touchpad interface. The automatic lift arms make adjusting heights for various tray or fruit heights incredibly quick and simple with up to 500 custom patterns programmable.

Sinclair have been very active in the last twelve months releasing several new equipment and label innovations and we are excited to have this latest technology in New Zealand” said Tom McLaughlin, Sinclair Regional Market Manager. “While innovation has been coming thick and fast out of the Sinclair team in the US, so have the accolades, with the CPL receiving an innovation award at the recent Macfrut show in Italy”.

Having recently released the award winning Print on Demand solution, the Jenkins Freshpac team are busy introducing these innovations to the industry in New Zealand and are looking forward to seeing some fleet upgrades coming through over the coming seasons, with the first CPL installation confirmed for a Hawkes Bay customer for the coming season.
