The BSS is an automatic vertical packing machine for New Vertbag type, which uses one single roll of net and customised film assembled together. The bar code and other variable data may be applied through an electronic labeller/printer or thermal transfer.
BSS differs from the Vertbag BSJ machine in the following characteristics:
- Side sealing of the film (more printable space on the rear of the pack);
- New cutter guide (more attractive shape of the pack and a more visible handle);
- Twist option (it makes the BSS more gentle on the product; this is due to a considerable reduction in the product drop, in addition to padding on the twist equipment for extra protection);
- UV photocell system (to determine the length of the bag without using unattractive registration-marks on the film);
