Good Guys, Good Business

There’s been some big news from our end over the last couple of months. In certain parts of New Zealand it has been the “worst kept secret” but we’ve maintained our grace (as best we can) and awaited the formalities…

Jenkins Group welcome CR Automation into our family!

These guys are smart, truly experienced campaigners AND are darned good buggers to deal with.

Over the past few years our involvement with one another has increased and, from a business synergy perspective, things could not line up any better. Their engineering and manufacturing nous, combined with their attention to detail and sourcing of best-in-class componentry, has seen them gain a reputation for delivering best-in-class solutions.

Back here at Jenkins Freshpac, as we aim to find the right balance of manufacturing partners to bring to NZ a similar best-in-class offering, it’s important that we find the right balance of “good guys” to partner with to bring to market solutions that are fit-for-purpose, robust enough that they get our service team’s “seal of approval” and… represent true value to our customer’s businesses. This combination is not the easiest to achieve!

For me, what this partnership really means is a solidification of Jenkins’ commitment as a long-term equipment and automation provider. Historically we’d admit that, relatively speaking, we have been a bit-piece provider of some real key pieces of packhouse equipment – you can’t go through many export packhouses without seeing a Sorma pallet strapper, bagging machine or bin tipper. While we are certainly on the cusp of establishing more exciting solutions as industry staples, there is much more hard work and exciting times to had along the way.

We’re certainly up for it.
